Karma knitters were established in 1984 and are registered as KOKTEYL KNITS TRADING AS KARMA. With over 20 years experience in the textile market and a plant size of 10000m2 situated in the heart of Istanbul. Karma are well know in Turkey as a key innovative company specialising in fancy knit items and fast response to the market. The key fibres used are viscose, cotton, polyamide, polyester, linen, silk and spandex with also of branded yarns like lycra, modal, tencel, lyocell, and organic cottons, The daily production capacity is 7500kg approx 2500m textured plain knits. The variations and possibilties are endless in this area the product appeals to both the casual sportswear area and ladies fashion knit area. Regular items include 28 gauge single jersey/elastane, plain and yarn dyed stripe, on wide width (165/170cm) which is supplied to the Export and Turkish domestic market on a daily basis. Tuaround is fast and reliable. Karma are very interested in cottons and organic cottons this season as the fashion emphasizes shifts and they are showing with fancy slub additions to add greater appeal. All production is made in house where possible unless something very new and unusual is requested which needs a different approach. The company is financially strong and independant and is the right size to be agile in an ever changing market. Quality standards are self imposed all production is checked throughout the manufacture of the order: ie, at greige, after dye, and at final inspection, to ensure goods are correct and right the first time. Records are maintained of customer order production so that a product can run at the same standard from one season to another. Dye houses used are ECO TEX approved and all dye stuffs are enviromentally friendly.
