Behind the brand there is a young designer who only started the brand in 2007 but attracted many people with right fit for all size ranges and sophisticated, feminine designs. Ela Onur, who was born in Istanbul, had a deep interest in lingerie from her early childhood trying her mother’s accessories and lingerie. After pursuing her education in U.S she went back to Istanbul and gained a wide experience in the lingerie manufacturing sector. Luckily, her family business was in lingerie accessories where she learned all the right ingredients that compose a perfect bra. In 2007 she left the kitchen to accomplish her dreams. The whole idea behind ELSE is the effort to make a woman feel glamorous, confident and comfortable while carrying a special set of lingerie. This what makes “ELSE” something else. The key factor of the great quality of ELSE is that the whole pieces are hand-crafted, and created as if they are tailor-made at Else’s own atelier in Istanbul. The most popular line of ‘ELSE’ is the Signature Collection. It is made from 100%silk combined with Chantilly laces with touches of wonderful pleats and drapes. It is seducing but in the mean time very glamorous and sophisticated. Each season the collections are created in parallel with fashion trends that are applied to sophisticated, original designs.
