Ultimo was established in 1973. Founded by Ayse Yarsuvat, operated in partnership with Leyla Erözenci as one of the first Buying Office concept in Turkey, at a time when the rise of Turkish exports was just beginning. Throughout the years of hard and dedicated work, Ultimo developed a thorough knowledge of the local industry, economical influences, and full understanding of the international business environment. In 1991, along with Ultimo's forward path, Manifatura was established to bring value added input of raw materials and accessories to the disposal of the textile industry. Further on, in 2002, in order to prepare the suppliers for global competition, Concordia B.V. was established in Amsterdam, out of necessity to promote design and brand building, and to give technical and operational support to the suppliers of international markets.
