Founded by Mehmet AYDIN in 1954, Mahmutpaşa, İstanbul as a workshop, Maydın Çorapları has subsequently started mass production in Yenikapı and incorporated in 1974 under its trademarks "Maydın" and "Luxury Maydın Socks", having a significant part of the national market share. Since 1984, Maydın Çorapları has opened to foreign market and shown the same achievement abroad it did in the local market. Having manufactured socks products for worldwide-known brands since 1984, our company continues to export to the American, Asian and European countries. The company moved in 1989 to the plant in Avcılar-İstanbul having a closed area of 12,700 m2, it increased its production capacity and quality to higher levels. It made investment in computer-aided socks machines for production in 1991 with a view of increasing its production quality, dealing with research and development activities to maximize its export levels and achieved to reach to its targets soon. Management of Maydın Çorapları is performed by Bekir AYDIN and Bülent AYDIN, 2nd generation members of the family. Together with its subsidiaries engaging with the activities of seamless Underwear and Technical Outerwear, Ready-Made Clothing, Yarn Spinning and Dyeing Plant, it formed into a group of companies, employing about 600 persons. Growth and development being the inevitable targets, Maydın Çorapları continues to make investments, increase its quality and growth and maintain its position in the market for long years as a family together with its 150 employees in the socks plant.
