Born in 1982 in Istanbul, Beste Gürel started her education in arts by joining various art workshops. After studying at the London College of Fashion and Parsons School of Design in Paris, Beste Gurel completed her studies at Yeditepe University in Istanbul. She began her career working with world-known designers Stella McCartney and Amanda Wakeley. In 2007, Gurel was lured back to Turkey where she was hired by leading department store Vakko. In 2009, she opened her own boutique in Çukurcuma, and then relocated to the upscale neighborhood of Teşvikiye, with a greater emphasis on creating custom pieces, reflecting clients’ personal style and complimenting their body type.
