1954 - Altan Konfeksiyon was founded by Mr. Altan Barkmen personally. At the beginning there was only one sewing machine and tailered bras were being made. 1955- The first shop of 40 metre squares was opened in Uskudar , İstanbul 1966- Higher scale workshops with bigger production capacity were set up in Sultanhamam , İstanbul and vertical integration started. 1972 – The land in Pendik , İstanbul was bought and is still remaining the head quarters for our company. 1980 – The building capacity reached 10 000 meter square. 1982 – Our exports to Europe started mainly with cotton composition fabrics. 1984 - Agreements for the exculsıve distribution and representation of the Triumph International brand for the Turkish market wich have countynuad till the and of the year 2008. 1985 – The retail lingerie shops under the logo termin starded to operate.Today four flag shops exist. Akmerkez , Erenkoy Bağdat avenue,kemermall in İstanbul Alsancak ,Izmir. 1993 - Vertical integration was achieved with the addition of circular knitting machines investments of Mayer and Cie and we establıshed SİNE ÖRME cırculary knittıng company . 1998 – The agreements for the distribution rights of the Marella brand which is a part of the Max Mara Fashion group were made , and and the first Marella shop opened in Nisantasi ,followed by the second on Bağdat avenue Erenkoy ,and the third in alsancak Izmir ( franchising ) 2000 - The distribution rights of the well known brand of hoisery, Cette from Belgium, were realized for the Turkish market and ladies hosiery has been added to our line of imported products. 2005-- Altan brand getting stronger , the collection became more diversified and besides sales to prestigious lingerie boutiques all across the country, corner shops were established in Boyner and YKM department stores and market share is increased. 2007 – Outlet shops were established in İstanbul Bağdat Avenue and Pendik( factory outlet ) with the new establishment. 2010—The production capacity was increased, and the building capacity reached 15 000 mt square. 2012 –Beach wear collection with Altan Brand is realized in addition to existing sleepwear and underwear collections.
