Since 1974,our production facility has been operating in Orhangazi/Bursa on 145,000 m2 area within the 54,500 m2 covered area, as the first integrated polypropylene fiber production facility in Turkey. It is a privately owned industry and trade incorporated company. Currently Elsan is producing polypropylene staple fibers, continuous yarns, hand knitting yarns, loop pile carpets and nonwoven carpets. In addition to these traditional applications of polypropylene, the company has introduced concrete and plaster fibers into the Turkish market. Concrete fibers make buildings last longer and increases endurance in earthquakes. These are currently in standard use in EU countries. Our mission is to assure continuity and quality of service by adapting rapidly to the developing technologies.
