About Bilici Yatırım Gayrimenkul Tekstil Turizm Enerji İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. Biliciler Kolektif Şirketi has been founded in 1950, bySüleyman Bilici and his brothers. The company began its operations in the area of agricultural pesticides and consumer durables. Following Süleyman Bilici’s decease in 1952, the Bilici family enhanced its business activities with cotton unseed trade, and started farming activities in 1960. Mehmet Arif Bilici and Hasan Bilici has founded Aktarım Kolektif Şirketi in the same year, and in addition to cotton unseed trading, they began industrial activities by cotton production in their Roller Gin and Saw Gin Facilities. The Bilici Brothers have founded Biltaş Bilici A.Ş. in 1983, aiming to leap through in the industry and gain access to export markets, and initiated cotton and yarn export activities within a short time. Biltaş A.Ş., Turkey’s largest yarn twisting facility, was founded in 1998 featuring the most state-of-the-art machinery in the sector, on a 54,000-sqm area in Adana Hacı Sabancı Organized Industrial Zone. The Bilici Brothers, continuing to grow in te textile industry, have founded Misis Apre Tekstil Boya Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. in 2000, with an annual capacity of 18 million meters. This company has started its operations within only one year, on an indoor area of 17,747 sqm, and a greenfield area of 12,559 sqm. The Bilici Brothers, by commissioning the Biltaş A.Ş. Cogeneration Plant in 2006, have started to generate their own power. Bilici Tarım (Biltar), holding the largest agricultural lands in Adana, have 60,000 citrus and 70,000 olive trees, whereas continue cotton and corn farming activities in their remaining lands, utilizing the latest technologies. In addition to its core activities in the textile and agriculture industries, Bilici Group has decided to operate in the tourism sector in 2007, buying a land to establish a 5-star modern hotel in the center of Adana. This project, with a capacity of 203 rooms, is run in collaboration with the Turkish Industrial Development Bank Real Estate Investment Company. Misis Apre Tekstil Boya Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. has completed the necessary investments to merge with Biltaş Bilici A.Ş. in 2010, aiming to improve operations in the textile industry and lead innovations.
