Since its foundation in 2006, SLN managed to stay at the forefront of the industry through its product portfolio, its approach to customers, products and employees and its ability to adopt and adapt to technological and quality trends. As a result, it worked with global brands in the sportswear industry and succeeded in creating a business relationship, which still continues today The dye unit that was established in 2011 helped increase SLN's competitive power with regards to quality, cost and manufacturing times.
The trade name of the parent company, which is located in Istanbul, was changed to SLN Tekstil Moda Ins. ve Tur. San. Ltd. Sti. (referred to as SLN Tekstil in this report) as new companies Moined the group in 2011. In addition to the parent company, SLN Konfeksiyon San. Tic. Ltd. Sti. referred to as SLN Konfeksiyon in this report) and SLN Boya ve Apre San.Tic.A.S. (referred to as SLN Boya in this report) are also included in this report as organi]ations carrying out the textile operations for the parent company.
SLN Tekstil is the main office where the organi]ation and coordination of the company's entire textile activities are carried out. It contains a model shop and cutting and manufacturing units. Moreover, it is the textile manufacturer and exporter, which performs the commercial activities of the company. SLN exports 100% of its textile products.
SLN Konfeksiyon, which maintained its structure as it was described in the previous report, is located in the same building as the main oĴce. The company performs 40% of the sewing, ironing and pacNing operations of SLN Tekstil. Contract manufacturers outside the company carry out the remaining 60% Additional information concerning the contract manufacturers has been provided in the relevant section.
SLN Tekstil's building, which has a 6000 m2 closed area, is located in Istanbul, Turkey, and has a monthly capacity of 350.000 pieces. 70% of SLN Tekstil's product range consists of sportswear for men, women and children, while 30% consists of outwear for the same groups. 99% of our products are Nnitted fabric. Although the main fabric used in these products are cotton, polyester and cottonpolyester mixtures, we also produce garments with IJbres with high added value, some of which are pima cotton, organic cotton, CMIA cotton, tencel, meryl, modal, designed dyed yarn.
SLN's clients include global companies from Germany, England, Scotland and the Netherlands. PUMA, a sportswear company, has been worNing with SLN for 6 years and has the greatest share of production. SLN has been working with Tommy Hilfiger for 5 years, Lyle and Scott for 3 years, Leassig for 4 years, Gaastra and K1X for 3 years and Thomas Pink for one year. We have added Christian Dior and Museum among our customers in 2011. Since all our clients are global brands, SLN exports apparel to diıerent countries upon their request. We frequently export our products to Germany, Scotland, Netherlands and England.
SLN Boya Moined the group at the beginning of 2011. It is a knitted fabric and chemical finish unit founded in Buyukkaristiran town of Kirklareli of Luluburgaz Region. After frequent changes of ownership, the dye house became a member of the SLN group in 2011.
'yed knitted fabric is manufactured at the dye house, which has a knitted fabric dyeing machinery park. All kinds of knitted fabric mostly cotton, polyester and cotton-polyester mixtures) are dyed and chemically finished in these machines.
SLN Boya is a 100% contractdyeing house. Customers supply the raw fabric, while the dye house is solely responsible for the dyeing. Its biggest client is SLN Tekstil, which utili]es 35% of its capacity. Likewise As Tekstil, Erse Tekstil, Cellion, ?Orma and Yns Tekstil are among the 30 textile manufacturers SLN Boya works with 5 of these companies are passive. All of its customers are textile companies, which manufacture ready to wear garments. Some of them are exporters, like SLN, while other sell their products only in Turkey.
SLN Boya was founded on a 45.000 m2 area, 12.000 m2 of which are closed. Its daily production capacity is between 15 to 20 tonnes. There are various factories from diıerent industries in the Luleburgaz - Buyukkaristiran region, where the plant is located. Textile, energy, glass, machinery and chemicals are the leading industries. Although the energy industry contributes signiIJcantly to the regionós economy, textile industry has the highest number of employees (35%). As a member of the textile industry, SLN Boya contributes to the development of the region with its 152 employees.
Agriculture plays a very important role in the economy of the region and provides 50% of the Mobs, whereas workmanship accounts for 35% of the Mobs. Trade comes third with 15%.
The total number of employees in the group is 332. 92 People work in SLN Tekstil, 93 in SLN Konfeksiyon and 147 in SLN Boya. |
