Since 1962 DUK Ties has been a family run and operated business for two generations. It was founded in 1962 in Istanbul and since then Duk have been manufacturing and distributing quality ties. As a first step towards a more integrated company in 1970 the weaving factory was opened in Bursa with a 1500 m2 of covered area. Today the factory produces 40.000 metres of fabric per month. In 1999 to improve the quality and to be more compatible with the world trade the sewing factory was opened in Duzce. With a covered area of 2000 m2 5000 ties are prodoced per day. In 1980 the company has gone beyond the Turkish borders, making exports to different countries. Now the company exports ties and accessories to countries such as Germany, Holland, USA,UK,Greece and Yugoslavia . In 1998 Duk became the licensee for Warner Bros and Walt Disney. Later the portfolio expanded with the licences of Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Trabzonspor football teams in ties and boxers. And lately got the license for Hot Wheels and Sponge Bob. Duk's motto is fast and on time delivery . Feeling the need, not only to meet the new demands of customers and markets but to realize them through a flexible, customer devoted, quick response organisation. We try to provide the best product and prices for our customer. There is a department making special personized items upon customer requests . Also in 2006 a new department was started for promotions, servicing big companies such as Bayer, HSBC etc. Duk Ties recognizing social responsibilities and knowing the importance of sports in developing physical and mental health became the sponsor for Şişli Sports Club and Bosphorus Swimming Competitions. At present the main direction of the company's activity is production and sales of ties and all the men's accessories such as tie clips,cufflings,scarfs,caps , boxers and swimming trunks.
