Lale Furnishings were founded in 1968 in Sultanhamam by Bülent Kocamaz for retail sales purposes; and in the course of time, it got involved in wholesale followed by production. Having a 44-year long history in the home textile industry, the firm last established facilities in 1990 in Çatalca County of Istanbul where it continuously renewed its Karl Mayer jacquard knit machinery by always prioritising and improving the quality up to now. Since early 2004, Lale Furnishings have added to its production range the Somet Alfa and Dornier looms as well as Fantasy – Jacquard and Dobby Weave cutting organza, voile, tulle, taffeta, double and silk tulle, burn-out fabric varieties. Other than production machinery, Lale Furnishings’ production facilities, extending over 33 decares of land with 15 thousand square meters of indoor area, incorporate ancillary machinery such as Laser cutting machines for cutting tulle skirts, tulle folding machinery, quality control machinery, Crush machine and its calendar, Mario Crosta cutting machine for woven tulle as well as Benningenr and Karl Mayer Warp Machinery. With investments in 2011 and 2012, Lale Furnishings have reached an annual production capacity of 16 Million square meters, 50% of which is being exported; and its readymade department performs sewing and packaging of readymade curtains especially for USA and UK. Besides USA and UK, Lale Furnishings produce and market its curtain tulle, table covers as well as plain and lycra lace worldwide in European countries, Russia as well as Middle East countries such as Israel and UAE, and Far East countries such as Japan, South Korea and China.
