Mr. Mehmet who has had experience near the popular tailors in Ankara opened his first business place as a 14-m2 tailor shop in Konya Street in Ulus in the 10th year of his career. The principles determined in 1974 have enabled the trademark of SETRMS to be mentioned with the concepts of ‘100% customer satisfaction, quality and reliability’ today. ÇELİKTEN presented proudly the men suits manufactured from the most qualified fabrics and materials of that time to outstanding customers and then he also worked upon orders for many popular and protocol customers between the years of 1983 and 1996. ÇELİKTEN started to apparel manufacturing in 1987 and opened a workshop in Demetevler in 1991 in order to meet the demands of stores. The workshop fail to satisfy over time and replaced with a new 1250-m2 facility in Siteler and a 500-m2 showroom was opened in Kızılay, Ankara with the purpose of giving better service to wholesale customers. Following the increasing production, wholesale dealerships have been started to be given over the all places of Turkey. Today SETRMS has a factory established in a 4800-m2 closed area in Balgat, Ankara and has employed totally 300 personnel. In addition, it has been working together with more than 15 workshops in several cities of Turkey that manufacture for SETRMS by means of the incentives given by the company. Understanding of quality not changing from past to today and 100% customer satisfaction, original designs, collections consisting of qualified and special fabrics made always SETRMS different. Fabrics have weaved privately in the biggest fabric factories of Turkey have integrated with the original models of SETRMS and as a result of a range of almost 500 different models each session, SETRMS has become the most prestigious trademark in the field of apparel in Turkey. Today the products of SETRMS presented to the female customers in more than 250 stores in Turkey put the trademark over the top in its own field of work. In addition, as a consequence of export to more than fifteen countries SETRMS has become an institution making contribution to the economy of the country. Some of these countries are Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Canada, Iran, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan. SETRMS has started to form wholesale chain stores in 2003 with the purpose of reaching its consumers directly. SETRMS giving service in a 650-m2 store in Kızılay, Ankara with a different store understanding has placed among the important stores of Ankara within a short time period and the second branch was opened in Etlik in the first year of the company. As a result of positive returns from the pilot regional attempt realized in Ankara within very short time compared to the expectations, the 450-m2 store in Malatya placed in the list of new cities has been opened with the participation of a great protocol. SETRMS has continued to increase its service quality by getting through to its customers directly in a totally 700-m2 6-floor store in Konya and Kayseri Shopping and Life Center (the largest Shopping Center of Middle Anatolia) in the first quarter of 2007. Besides, in the last quarter of 2007 SETRMS took place among the big stores in ANTARES which is the largest Shopping Center in Turkey and therefore it passed the goals of this year. SETRMS has continued its investments in the first quarter of 2008 and again took place in ACITY outlet shopping center which presents some initials in the sector. SETRMS has started its investments in 2010 with a 500-m2 3-floor big store in Izmir and also there are some other cities whose feasibility studies and meetings have been continuing. The cities having priority in the next period have been determined as Istanbul, Antalya, Izmit, Eskisehir, Adana, Kahramanmaras, Gaziantep, Denizli, Samsun, Corum, and Bursa.
