Giray Sepin was born in Ankara, Turkey in 1981. In 2004, he got his B.A. from Yeditepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Fashion and Textile Design department. He worked within the Abbate design team with Ümit Ünal from September 2003 until July 2005. In 2003, he became the finalist in the ITKIB Young Fashion Designers Contest. With the second prize he won from the same contest in 2004, he got a scholarship for the Polimoda International Institute Master Advanced program, under the supervision of Linda Loppa. In August 2006 he completed his education in Florence. He started to work for Mudo Collection Men in November 2007. In 2010, he designed shirts for Bill’s White Shirt project. He also designed the dancers’ costumes for the Eurovision Song Contest final performance of Can Bonomo in 2012. He continues his designing adventure with his own brand under his name which was launched in January 2014 along with his position as the head designer of menswear at Mudo Collection.
