Our company (and the brands PRIMA, Kaya Sails) has been started in the fifties. The founder, my father Hamit ЦNOL was racing together with Cafer SEYFЭOРLU, one of the famous designer and builders af boats and sails. My father sometimes was helping him for repairing sails and for new sail designs.

Seeing the success and the demand, those steps turned first to a second job, later he established our first loft and started the sail-making industry. The experience of the sea and sailing helped the company for growing to todays modern loft.

We started first in Turkey using CAD/CAM equipment and purchased the PROSAIL software and hardware of the company AWA of New Zealand. We used the Plotter for several years and switched to the CUTTER of the same brand. So we are able designing and cutting new sails in short time and can keep the designs of the passed years in the computer memory.

Without doubt, the most important parts of the sails are the cloths used. They must be strong and durable. We use for our production selected quality materials from leader brands of several countries. For example, the mostly used sail clothes from the Dutch company Contender won in the Olympic Games 2004 Athens by the used sails 22 medals in very differing weather and sea conditions.

Our loft has special machines for sailmaking. Besides the CAD/CAM computer and Plotter/Cutter we have several long armed zig-zag lock stitch sewing machines, makers are German Pfaff, Adler and Bernina also Japanese Con-Sew. There is an hydraulic press for fittings. The employees are since long years with us, they are well experienced. We all work for the safety and comfort of you on the sea.

On the seas we are at home and we continue to collect experience. We (the whole family) take part in yacht races with the yacht “Uzma” and in the traditional wooden ship races in the South either with our ship or with other boats. Our own boat Carpe Diem is generally on tours, on the so called “Blue Voyage”s. The second ship is already beeing built.

Please don’t hesitate for contacting us any time in any matter. We are always open to usefull co-operations.

Yours sincerely

Kaya ЦNOL
