Founded in the year of 1958 by Habib ÖZTAS, ÖZTAS Çorap (ÖZTAS Socks) has been in operation within the sock market as long as a period of over 40 years. Having reached to its best conclusions with the studies in the direction of exportation they started after the year 1980, ÖZTAS has recently been among the first leading exporters in Turkey. ÖZTAS today has gained the status of its special characteristics with its widest machine park within the section of sock production once they got in with only a few mechanical machines of our founder Habib Öztas. ÖZTAS follows a stable development and improvement process with its investments in the production of clothing and various ready-made clothes and with its gradually increasing contribution to textile exports of our country. These developments of ÖZTAS are based on several actors such as its strong capital structure, successful management, updating to the newest developing technology, and its concern and consideration of consumers’ changing tendencies …etc. ÖZTAS, has the capacity to make production within the world scale regarding the volume and the quality with its computerised and mechanically rigged Machine Park that can meet the every kind of sock orders and with its annual 35 million pair of socks production capacity. It also increases its significance that Öztas materialises its production within its own factory buildings and quality control system. Especially, Öztas also tries to keep on renewing mechanical machine park synchronous with the developments, improvements and alterations of the number of the computerised machines taking into consideration the production needs with various size. Having commenced on production in the year of 1994, Öztas underwear has come to a position in the underwear market that it deserved with its fastidiousness in both selections of raw materials and the production process. The new factory building has been completed in the year of 1997 the construction of which was started in 1996 and thus, the physical environment for a better production has been created. Its experienced production cadre gained power with the new participators. Öztas Inc. Has been rewarded for several times by IHKIB( Istanbul Ready-made Clothes Sellers and Exporters Association) and ISO (Istanbul Chamber of Industry) for its perfect performance in export.
