Adventure began with Master Hadi !
Master Hadi began his career as apprentice when he was 15 year old in 1945 and then he became qualified workman at the workshop of Mint under mould Master Lütfü who was the forman of the workshop. The Mint’s workshop gained nationwide honor as it happened to be the first workshop to produce moulds for plastic soles. That one of the largest rubber factory of Europe, GISLAVED, happened to be buyer of the moulds produced in the workshop might shock one. He started his business in Karagümrük in 1949 with Behzat Büyükdikmen, son of his master Lütfü, as his partner Later, He established his own mould workshop named “Master Hadi’s Mould Workshop” in Edirnekapı in 1962. Many of today’s mould masters stepped in their career as apprentice under Master Hadi those days. He began casting iron at his workshop and manifacturing some products for firms under his own label.

Following obtaining very good work experience and qualified master’s skill and training granted to him by very qualified masters of the profession.Master Hadi (Hadi HOŞMAN) succeeded in manufacturing original “ÇAÇA [CHACHA]” mould. This kind of mould was highly appreciated by domestic and international professionals active in the sector at that time. It was shocking that the French imitated the mould.

Among his customers, famous firms such as Yıldız Plastik,GISLAVED, Levent Plastik (presently PUMA),Adidas,Yer Cizen, Alarko (casting moulds), Ziylan, Tabsan, Ceylan, Sumerbank can be counted at first call.

Above mentioned firms are deemed to be the pioneers of first initiatives in this industrial sector.
Master Hadi began working with his son Arslan HOŞMAN in 1985. Then, They established a Co. Ltd. transferring their old work shop into a official corporation in 1995. So, Hürkalıp had big opportunities to be a pioneer in the manifacture of sole moulds from the date of its foundation till
today.

Hürkalıp has tried and achieved introducing many new kinds of mould patterns. Hürkalıp grew with help of the developed technology and began providing her customers with good and regular services with the aid of computer supported CNC machinery.

2) MANUFACTURE AND THE SCOPE OF USAGE

Being the Moulds for Shoes, ready-made soles, heels, covers of heels, boots, high-boots (suitable for shoe-upper-on production), some kinds of shoes suitable for core or spade injection, vulcanization, PU, TR, TPU, PVC and moulds for rubber suitable for pressing are our primary products, we do every kind of inflating, vulcanization, metal injection, plastic injection, bakelite, hammering, transfer printing, modeling and processing works at our production unit.

Primarily, our main customer group constitutes of shoe manifacturers and manufacturers of serial production.

3) PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED IN THE MANUFACTURE PROCESS

Generally, difficulties in supplying qualified materials, employment of trained technicians and inconsistency we face in the sector are the problems we live with in the manifacture process.

4) MACHINERY AND SOFTWARE PROGRAMS WE USE

We design computer models with Think Desing and Hypermill Cad/Cam program and produce them with our CNC machinery which is suitable for manifaturing mould and model and supported by Siemens 840d being one of the most developed control unit.

5) PROBLEMS OF OUR SECTOR, OUR OPINION ABOUT THE CONCEPT OF UNFAIR COMPETITION WE FACE IN OUR SECTOR AND REMEDIES FOR THEM

Turkey should first trust her own people and her own manufacturers and producers primarily. Only by trusting them, our country will be able to become a developed country and join the league of the Developed Countries and be a participant in the race among them; and then will be able to gain the annual national income we look forward to gaining.Payments rendered to Italians as remuneration for the shoe moulds ordered by some Turkish manifacturers are the main cause of harm both to the sector and to our national economy.

We believe that We have artisans and foremen of adequate level of quality, well training and profession, who are able to manifacture moulds of adequate quality in our country. What we need is the realization of optimal investment whose result wil be better education that will provide the sector with more qualified artisans who will help the country raise her national income. Our production is destined not to be maximized as long as the business environment which is the main cause of our facing some difficulties such as the problems in supplying raw materials, collecting receivables and unbalanced political practices of the governments is alive. Since the entrepreneurs’ share of the social security payments is quite high, the tendency of hiring workers without social security is quite strong and getting stronger leading to unfair competition run by such enterprenuers to become a greater and serious problem.

The burden of educating people for the sector and setting the quality standards of the education therefore is on our shoulders due to the fact that that burden is not shared by the public sector.

6) WHAT MAKES US PREFERABLE

The main difference lays within the details. The primary factor that makes us preferable against our competitor is our khow-how and experience in mould manifacture we have gained throughout our over-sixty-year and uninterrupted career and approved quality of service. Hürkalıp is also fallowing up the rapidly developing technology and tries to do her best to select and execute the most suitable alternatives for the country. Her concept of rendering good service through her experienced personnel may well be counted among the factors of her being preferable. Our vision is to :

Create more technologic solutions in model and mould production;

Follow up the technology to provide our customers with products and services that are above their expectations;

Keep the highest standards to gain our rank among the leading firms of the sector.

and our mission is to :

Provide our customers with qualified and trusted services;

Help them refine their business performance and save their time.

7) R&D

While looking for opportunities of rendering better service we came across the fact that in our country there is no computer program correcting shoe size errors and decided to start our own project supported by TEKMER in order to code our own computer program. We welcome anyone who wishes to develope our project with their experiences.

8) OUR VALUES
Focussing on customers

Trustworthiness

Innovation

Dynamism

Productivity

Team spirit
